Her smile is like the spring sunshine,
Her laughter is like a rhythm divine,

When she speaks, I am mesmerized,
Her soft voice gets me hypnotized,

Her eyes, deeper than the deepest sea,
If only I can drown in them and be free,

Her velvet skin, I want to caress,
And lose myself in her flowing tress,

And I find myself in an unbroken trance,

From the moment I heard the news,

My mind hasn't stopped thinking

O' how fickle this dear life is,

And my heart is slowly sinking

How quickly life can turn,

How quick dreams are shattered,

And I wonder 'bout their thoughts,
As the metal and flesh clattered

Life must have flashed by,

Moments of laughter and pain,

Memories of those close by,

Of the carefree dancing in the rain

Many long cherished dreams,
are forever gone now,
And fathom the promises,
that must be forgotten somehow

Everyone mourns for those who are gone,
Its not something one can replace,
But of one thing I am convinced,
